Backcountry Montana Adventures, located in Twin Bridges, Montana, was founded by Mike and Carrie in 2003.
Mike was born into a Montana pioneering family with roots in this area dating back to 1865. He has called this area home all his life. Mike grew up hunting, fishing and exploring these very same mountains. With his lifetime of knowledge and love for the mountains you will not find a more capable outdoorsman to guide you. Mike has been guiding for more than 20 years.
Carrie moved to Montana in 2000 to finish her college education. As a non- traditional student her professors soon learned about her determination to learn all about this area. That is exactly what she did. Carrie graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Environmental Science. She has enjoyed her new life here in Montana. Carrie is fast becoming an experienced fisherman, nature guide and hunter. Come experience the mountains with her.
